Solution:

1). Question based on pie-chart
Total number = 11200

Total % of (P + R + S + T)
together = 78%
Number of Nokia sold by store
P = (4 / 7) × 14 × (11200 / 100)   = 8 × (11200 / 100)  =  896
Number of Nokia sold by store
R = (5 / 9) × 16 × (11200 / 100)   = [(80 × 112) / 9]  =  996
Number of Nokia sold by store
S = (7 / 13) × 28 × (11200 / 100)   = 14 × 112  =  1688 approx
Number of Nokia sold by store = (1 / 5) × 14 × (11200 / 100)   = 448
Total Nokia phone sold by store (P + R + S + T) = 896 + 996 + 1688 + 448 = 4028
Reqd Average = (4028 / 4) = 1007
Answer:  a)

2). Samsung phone sold by store P = (3 / 7) × (14 / 100) × 11200  = 672
Samsung phone sold by store Q = (1 / 4) × (10 / 100) × 11200  = 280
Total Samsung sold by (P + Q) = 672 + 280 = 952
Total Nokia phone sold by R = 996
Difference = 996 – 952 = 44
Required percentage = (44 / 952) × 100 =   [(44 × 25) / 238] = [(22 × 25) / 119]
= (550 / 119) = 4(24 / 119)
Answer: e)

3). We know, 100% = 360°
so, 1 = 36°
so, 28% = 28 ×  3.6 = 100.8°
Answer: c)
4). Number of Nokia Phone sold by store S = 1688 (approx)
Total Number of Samsung phone sold by store T = (4 / 5) × (20 / 100) × 11200  = 1792
Total Number of Samsung phone sold by store T = (10 / 21) × (12 / 100) × 11200  = 640
Required ratio = 1688 : (1792 + 640)
= 1688 : 2432 = 211 : 304
Answer: e)

5). Total Number of cellular phones sold by stores Q in October
= (10 / 100) × 11200  = 1120
Sold in November = 1120  × (115 / 100) = 1288
Total Number of cellular phones sold by T in October = (20 / 100) × 11200  = 2240
Sold in November = 2240  × (105 / 100) = 2352
Total phone sold = 2352 + 1288 = 3640
Answer: c)

6). Required ratio = [ ( 12 / 100) × 25780 ] / [ ( 11 / 100) × 7390 ]
= (12 × 2578) / (11 × 739)  = (30936 / 8129)  = (3094 / 813)
Answer: b)

7). Required percentage  =  { [ ( 24 / 100) × 25780 ] / [ ( 16 / 100) × 25780 ] } × 100
= (24 / 16) × 100 = 150%
Answer: b)

8). Required difference = [(11 – 7) / 100] × 7390
= (4 / 100 ) × 7390 = 295.6  = 296
Answer: e)

9). difference is maximum in Science
Answer: c)

10). Total number of students selected from commerce and Agriculture
= [ (16 + 7) / 100 ] × 7390 = (23 / 100) × 7390
= 1699.70 = 1700
Answer: a)
